Drew Daywalt & Oliver Jeffers’ THE DAY THE CRAYONS QUIT

Red complains that he is over used, Purple is upset that Duncan won’t colour within the lines, Beige is sad that there is nothing for him to colour, Grey wants a break from colouring big animals, White feels empty and Black doesn’t want to do outlines, Green is happy but wants Duncan to settle a dispute between Orange and Yellow over which colour is the colour of The Sun, Blue is concerned that he is almost a stub and Pink thinks she is being overlooked because Duncan is a boy. And lastly Peach doesn’t want to leave the crayon box because Duncan peeled his label off and now he’s naked.

Of course this picture book is bursting with colour especially after Duncan responds to the crayons concerns. A bright, vibrant, clever and funny picture book everyone can enjoy!
